This teacher goes above and beyond for her students. She's absolutely an inspiration. 6 of my children have had her and each one has felt her love and compassion. Oakdale is blessed to have her.

Mrs. Arb is amazing, she shows every child kindness,love& care. She is very informative, loves her job& it really shows in everything she does. She is always willing to help if she is able.
We are so blessed to have her as the first teacher our son ever gets to have.

Mrs. Leckron, or as I like to call her "Mom" - is an incredible teacher inside the classroom, but what really sets her apart is what she does for these kids outside of it. Sadly, not every kid was fortunate enough to grow up with the kind of support system I had. If one of her students invites her to their volleyball game because their parents can never make it, she goes. If a kid asks her to go to attend their band concert because they have no one to watch them, she's there. Without hesitation, Mrs. Leckron provides kindness and a sense of worth to each and every student. Of course she covers off on the curriculum, but she also teaches manners, life skills, and plain common sense that these kids so badly need to thrive in today's world.

Mr. Montoya is so caring and dedicated to his students. He is amazing in all aspects. He helps build children's confidence through music and does so well teaching. He is a great inspiration for students and I am so glad my children have all worked with him through school.

I have never been a person who loves math. I have an older brother who loves math, but I never understood his passion for it. My freshman year I was taking Algebra One. I hated it, but Mrs. Ziegler saw how I was struggling and offered me extra help before and after school. Over the summer going into my sophomore year I went to tutoring every week. I really started to understand math and was ready to start a new year. I had heard from previous geometry students that they had hated geometry and this made me very nervous. I started out the year struggling, but on every test Mrs. Ziegler would write me notes of encouragement. For example, (Alyssa, thank you for your hard work. Students like you make this job worth it!) and (I know this isn't the grade that you would like, but keep pushing, you are doing great!) She is always positive and ready to help me when I need it. This has been my personal experience, but I know from talking with my classmates that she always motivates others to do their best and is willing to help them when they need it. She is amazing because she is always encouraging and ready to help us be the best we can be in Geometry and Algebra, which are often difficult subjects.
